I forgot to post an article I wrote about January transfer window. I know it's late but it can't be forgetable because a few players changed their clubs.
Manchester united were watching International striker Leonardo Damiao. Transfer amount was said to be 24 million pounds.
Wigan had agreed the sighing with Birmingham’s chilian winger Jean Beausejour at undisclosed deal.
Everton sold their winger Dimiyar Bilyeletdinov to Spartak Moscow. The footballer, who couldn’t settle in the team, was bought from other Moscow team Locomotiv in 2009. Everton were trying to make a deal with Fiorentina and their man Alessio Cerci.
After Gary Cahill’s departure, Bolton tried to buy Tottenham’s Sebastien Bossong to fill the gap. The deal with defender Tim Ream had already been signed.
Chelsea tried to get Wiliam from Shakhtar Donetsk for 16.7 million pounds but Shakhtar would have considered selling him for a sum of 25 million pounds so the deal was put on hold. Apart from that Chelsea wanted Belgian Kevin de Bruyne from Genk.
Famous affair with Carlos Tever couldn’t just find an end. Man City didn’t want to sell him cheaper than the price market and therefore more and more clubs had withdrawn their interest. PSG and lnter had stated they didn’t want Tevez. Finally the footballer came back to Man City and helped them to clinch the title.
Tottenham wanted to get rid of Dos Santos. Two possible interests were from Villareal and Granada.
Southampton had signed Japanese striker Tandori Lee.
After that Mark Hughes had become a QPR manager, the club bought two players: Taye Talwo and Nedum Onucha. Onucha, bought from Manchester City, had agreed 4.5 year contract with Rangers.

Today I would like to share what you should know when deciding to invest in sports betting. Most common problem among novice players is the talk about the effectiveness of what good tipster should have to get a good efficiency.
Efficiency tells us what is the proportion of tipster tips, which was won and lost, eg if tipster received 50% efficiency in the particular period, this means that half of the given tips hit. However, on this basis, we cannot say whether it reached the profit or loss. Tipster efficiency reaching up to 80% in the period, can reach a negative balance, or loss. This is dependent on the odds for contenders (winnings) meetings. Often mistakenly gamers 1.20 odds on sporting events by treating them as bunkers. Assuming that in a given period tipster posted 30 sport picks of the same odds, of which 24 proved to be accurate, it gives us a 80% efficiency, but brings a loss. What, therefore, the determinant more precisely determine the quality of our tipster? It is very often used among the so-called professional players. "Yield", and it is calculated from the formula: (sum of all wins - the sum of all stakes) / * sum of all stakes of 100%.
Example. Select the types of coupons today and we put:
1. FC Barcelona - Real Madrid: pick Barcelona, the odds of 2.00, the stake of 100 Eur, coupon loss, winning is 0 Eur (loss of 100 Eur)
2. Liverpool - Manchester United: pick Manchester United, the odds of 2.40, the stake of 100 Eur, coupon winner, the payout is 240 Eur (profit 140 Eur)
yield = (240 - 200) / 200 * 100% = 20%
Yield combines three elements: efficiency, the odds and level of stakes and the ability of a tipster. I think it will allow for more accurate assessment of the tipster.

It's been a while that I wanted to post these information but as they say 'better last than never'. That weekend 21-22.01.2012 there was no surprise in the Spanish Premier Division. Two favorites to win the championship of Spain, bunkers Real Madrid and Barcelona won their matches 4-1. Barcelona away cracked down Malaga and Leo Messi showed off his next hattrick. Real Madrid defeated Athletic Bilbao and Christiano Ronaldo scored 2 goals, both from the penalty spot. Ronaldo competes with the best player in 2011 Messi (more about that here and here) for the title of Spain's top league scorer.
There were 2 games on Sunday that mattered in the English Premier League. In the first one leader from Manchester, Citizens played Tottenham - the team from the third place. After the first goalless half, football players did not let his fans get bored in the second half. In 9 minutes they scored four goals. First, Nasri and Lescott scored goals for City and they went on 2-0 lead. But after a while it was 2-2 when the shots from Defoe and Bale denied Citizens’ 3 points.
Another stunner in this round was Manchester United's clash with Arsenal. Matches between these two teams always electrify fans from all over Britain. United played very wisely overwhelming the game for many moments and they won 2-1 deservedly. This result, especially that obtained away allowed Manchester United to maintain 3-point distance to the leader of the City (at this time).
In the Italian Serie A hit of the round was a meeting between Inter Milan and Lazio, which, after goals from Milito and Pazzini, Inter won. In other matches favorites won their matches (Jeventus, Milan and Udinese).
Teams from the Italian league were suspected of fixing matches a few seasons ago. Bookmakers around the world were very cautious with the results they obtained, especially draws. The odds on them were so small and very often these matches were withdrew from bookmakers offer.
Italian football federation reacted quite strongly and punished Juventus severely and relegated them to the lower division for fixed matches.

Not so long ago there was an event held in Zurich where all European football awards for 2011 were given away. A lot of players and managers from the best clubs in Europe showed up at this excellent event. Before the awards, among internet fans free sports bet was distributed who will win and what prize. Some of them were also paid tips which could have been seen that so many sport fans put their interest in the awards.
Returning to the event, the Ballon d'Or for the 3rd time in a row was won by the phenomenon of today's football - Lionel Mesii. Cristiano Ronaldo took the second place (he was a winner of the prize in 2008 when he was still at Manchester United) and third place was given to the Messi’s club teammate Xavi (about best footballist read here). The award was presented by Brazilian striker Ronaldo.
Among other categories there were also honored for best coach category in 2011. There was no surprise and the prize was won by Barcelona coach Pep Guardiola leaving behind José Mourinho (Real Madrid) at the second and Sir Alex Ferguson (Manchester United) on the third place.
Players from the Spain were also crowned as the best starting XI in 2011 years where there were 5 players from Barcelona and 4 players from Real Madrid. The other two were the players from Manchester United: Vidic and Rooney.

The best starting XI in 2011 looked like this:
Casillas, Sergio Ramos, Vidic, Daniel Alves, Pique, Xabi Alonso, Cristiano Ronaldo, Xavi, Iniesta, Messi, Rooney.
As we can see no underdogs allowed.

There are sublime moments in sport and there are a lot of them. We tear our eyes out very often sitting in front of the TV or watching sport events live either with joy or with anger. All the best tipsters in the world are trying to figure it our who is going to win.
Athletes themselves quite often have tears in their eyes, and not because of any injury but only because of the emotions that prevail in the human body. And this article is about such sublime moments in sport amongst the athletes.
As we know, every sportsman wants to represent his country at various international events. Regardless if this is the World Cup, Europe Championship or any event on another continent, everybody want to show their best and fight for their countries to take the best place possible. Not everyone succeed and this is very often when even the proclaimed favourites are not only occupy the first place but are out of the competition in the various phases of it. And this is when all bookmakers win the money.
Those best teams or sportsman, sometimes with a bit of luck that is always needed, are moving forward and gaining certain trophies by taking the first place. We cannot describe the feelings they got by winning trophies. Those who dropped out earlier are trying to disappear in the dressing rooms very quick and are often unable to accept defeat for a long time. Winners instead, enjoy and celebrate all the winnings together with their fans.
Certain types of athletes, more sensitive ones, do not hide tears in such cases, which can often be seen on a TV monitors. And the supporters do not judge on that, they know the tears are joy tears and nothing can be compared to that. The happiest in the world are tipsters and their clients who put their money on the underdogs.

A few weeks ago there was, held in Monaco, a draw for the Champions League groups and also an award ceremony for the best players in Europe for sporting achievements in 2011. First place, which was not surprising, because the best tipsters from around the globe picked him, took Lionel Messi playing day in/day out in Barcelona, Spain. Second place was awarded to Xavi Hernández, Messi’s team-mate. The third place took another player from the Spanish Primera Division, Christiano Ronaldo called CR7 playing at Real Madrid. All three of these footballers were so-called favourites to win the main trophy, awarded by vote of journalists each year. This year, 53 European journalists voted.
Messi in the Champions League scored 12 goals last season and was top scorer of that league. These goals are only a supplement to the entire list of goals from the season 2010/2011, in which he hit the net 53 times. It's an amazing achievement, of course, it would not be possible without his team-mates, Xavi and Iniesta. Xavi, as I mentioned, was second and Andres Iniesta fourth in voting by journalists. In the top ten, four football players were honored from Barcelona because in 8th place yet settled Gerard Piqué. Barcelona's players fully deserved the awards as they won the Champions League in the 2010/2011 season for Barcelona by defeating Manchester United 3-1.
Amongst the punters offering their sport picks there were many tips for Barca players, which later proved to be the best club in the world, winning 4-0 with brazilian Santos.
Congratulations Mesii and the whole Barcelona team!
